Hai everyone.

Today I would like to share with you guys about a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.

Yes... It is what I am pursuing now. I am currently at my Year 1 in an undergraduate bachelor of chemistry at the University of Malaya. 

To be honest with you guys, Chemistry was never in my head. But I didn't know what went wrong with me, but  I ended up filling Chemistry as my first choice during filling up the UPU. So, here I am. I was always in love with Biology. So, I was intended to pursue my degree in Biology related field, well at the very least I intended to go for Biomedical Science. But, I guess God moved my heart and I  changed the first option minutes prior to the time that any changes on UPU cant be made. I literally put Chemistry as my first choice when I never really love and have the heart to pursue Chemistry as my major. In other words... You could say that I don't really like chemistry. Well,,, I might probably hate it? So, the first time I started to go through my first semester, I started to think that this is probably the biggest mistake I had ever made in my entire life; choosing Chemistry as my major. But, what can I do? the mistake has been done. I don't want to be a wimp, and although I think this my fiercely challenge my life in another 3 and half years ahead, I need to fight for it. This is what I had chosen and I need to finish it no matter what. For now, I think I'm doing fine and I hope you guys who read this can pray for me that I will be doing better and better. I must challenge myself. And to be honest again with you guys, I was never really into Science. I hated science the most ever since primary school, but I managed to make it here. You like something or you hate something, when it comes to learning, you need to do it no matter what. It teaches us that not all the things that we love, we can get. And not all the things we love too can lead us to a better place. So, I believe that wherever I am right now, it has been predestined for me and it is the best plan God has made for me. It just now all depends on my will to learn to love what I am given and to never give up. 

So enough with all the babbles, now I would like to share with you guys. Some of the careers that people doing degrees in Chemistry can land into.  I found these during my little digging on the internet. Hahahaha. So.. let's see what is our future.

1. Professor

Well of course. If you can study and reach this level, it's definitely gonna pay off. 

2. Educator (Lecturer/Teacher)

3. Cosmetic chemist

Girls we love cosmetics. Why not instead of using it, we be the one on the line of those who make it. Who knows we might end up opening our own cosmetic brands with our own 'secret recipes'. 

4. Chemical engineer.

Well, I heard it is not impossible for us to become an engineer, but it is kind of hard to compete also with chemical engineer graduates. But, as long as we have the 1% of chance, we still have the chance, right? so, to whoever thinks they want to become an engineer, it's okay. You are still on track. If luck sides on you, you might get the chance to become as an engineer too! 

5. Chemist

Well, a chemist of course. In any of your desired fields of chemistry.

6. Science writer

Yeah, you can become a writer too.

7. Water chemist

There are so many places we can go. We are responsible for the study of chemicals' presence in the water. So, definitely, many places we can land after we graduate.

8. Analytical chemist

9. Quality control chemist

Usually, this kind of career will lead us to work in the pharmaceutical field. I heard so many graduates of chemistry has gone into pharmaceutical from my lecturers. It is our job as QC to ensure that all the standards in products are met. 

10. Organic chemist

Great news to all Organophiles (you who loves organic, lololol.) 

There are so much more works that we can do by earning a degree in Chemistry. As we all know, Chemistry is the center of science, which makes it very important and can lead us to a vast amount of career prospects. 

As long as we're clever enough to find the opportunities, a lot of doors are wide open for us. So, don't worry too much about jobs because understanding and professionals in chemistry are always needed everywhere.

Since I already had some experience gotten from living in Perak Matriculation College, so now Im not that nervous like the first time staying in hostel hohoh( masa sekolah dulu tak nak duduk in hostel) So thankfully in our pre-u life(if you re going to the matriculation and seangkatan dengannya). there is no more hostel like sekolah(that's what i heard). TIPS BELAJAR LAST MINUTE

 Hai semua.. Apa khabar? Hahah. Hujan lebat di luar sana, jadi aku ambiklah masa yang terluang ni untuk menulis dalam blog. Harini saja dah berapa entri aku buat. Hahaha. Okey. Back to the tujuan asal. Untuk post kali ni, aku ingat nak share dengan korang a few tips untuk study last minute. Hooo. Ni khas untuk manusia yang suka procrastinate macam aku. Tak bagus ye anak-anak. Namun siapalah kita untuk menidakkan bahawa kita sering tersedar diri apabila segalanya telah terlambat. 😂😂  Aku ni daripada sekolah lagi semua benda last minute. Dah sampai nak masuk U ni pun sama juga perangai. Esok nak exam, malam ni baru aku nak bukak buku daripada A-Z. Selama ni dalam kelas, tido( kelas online. Ya Allah rasa berdosa. Adik-adik janganlah buat ya.
